Hardly any other city in Germany is as international as Frankfurt. There are currently about 180 different nations living here. Out of the 780,000 residents, every third person has foreign roots.

This multinational history goes back much further. Among others, Italians, French, Dutch, Belgians, Poles and Englishmen all found a new home here stretching back more than 600 years ago. Each nationality brought new ideas and skills with them and the economic development of Frankfurt benefited enormously.
