My Frankfurt Tips
Frankfurt Cathedral Tower
For those that do not suffer from heights climbing the 328 steps of the cathedral tower is a real experience. The view is well worth the effort!
The Palm Garden in Westend
There is something to discover in the Palm Garden every season. As well as an ever changing cultural offering, one can rent a rowing boat, try fine dining or simply relax in the beautiful surroundings – an oasis from the Mainhatten fast life
22nd Lounge & Bar
Do you fancy a cocktail, live music and a great view of Frankfurt at night? Then take to the exterior glass lift to the 22nd Lounge & Bar in the Eurotheum tower.
The English Theatre
We try not to miss any of the shows from this English speaking theatre group. The theater has a very special flair, and you almost feel like you have been transported over the water to the “Queen’s realm” ….
The International Theatre
In this theater you can really experience the cosmopolitan character of the city of Frankfurt. See for yourself…..
A visit to this wonderful cosy theatre is definitely worthwhile. It was founded in 1988 and specializes in Variety. You can experience incredible acrobatics, comedy and magic with international artists. It is quite small and when the stage is moved into the middle of the audience for some acts, you are really right next to the artists.
Tresor am Roemer
This is a shop with a very special flair: here you will not only find rare books dating back as far the 15th Century, but also wonderful decorative graphics, maps and other curiosities – a true treasure chest in the heart of Frankfurt.
Whatever the season, the museum mile is always worthwhile! How about a “museum-hopping” tour?
Vineyard cottage hike
Who cannot resist a few good glasses of Rheinhessen wine, combined with a walk through beautiful vineyards?
On the first Sunday in September there is a special hike in Alzey, called the Vineyard cottage hike, where wine and food is offered directly by the growers in their Vineyards.
