The journey alone is worthwhile and this beautiful city is the jewel in the crown – and not only in December during the famous Christmas market … !<\/p>\n

Several trade fairs took place each year here in the Middle ages making the city an important trading partner for the Free Imperial City of Frankfurt am Main. Many German emperors chose Nuremberg as a residence, including Charles IV who issued the famous first Imperial law, the \u201cGolden Bull” in 1356.<\/p>\n

Nuremberg has a multitude of museums to offer, including the birthplace and studio of Albrecht D\u00fcrer – Germany’s most successful medieval artist.<\/p>\n

The city is also closely linked with the history of the Third Reich: This is where Hitler proclaimed the race laws at the massive Reich Party Rallies and the allies held here the famous \u201cNuremberg Trials” at the end of the second world war.<\/p>\n
